A blocked drain is usually a symptom rather than the whole story. Clearing the immediate blockage gets the property working again, but if the same gully blocks every autumn, or a section of pipe has collapsed or bellied, the problem returns. Where a blockage keeps recurring, a CCTV survey shows exactly what is happening underground so the repair addresses the cause.
